"The Medical Foundation was instrumental in leading us through the process of
developing our mission and value statement, the core and essence of who we are and what we want to become. Their expertise offered to the Charlestown Substance Abuse Coalition
has been invaluable to say the least."

Community Health Division

The Medical Foundation's Community Health Division tackles today's challenging public health issues with a broad spectrum of creative health services and programs. Our services include:

Community Health Assessment
By thoroughly assessing the health status of a community, we can recommend the best ways to bring together community resources to build healthier communities and to improve quality of life.

Health Communications Services
Health communication services provide culturally appropriate marketing and distribution solutions to your public health challenges. Our 40 years of health communication experience ensures that you reach your audience by speaking their language.

Information & Referral Services
The Medical Foundation provides the number one information and referral service in Massachusetts, operating both comprehensive and specialty helplines. Our caring staff are here when others aren't, 24/7 responding to social and health needs.

Training and Capacity Building Services
Our training and consulting services build the skills and abilities of health and human service providers to better serve youth and support healthy communities. Through highly interactive training, we help you do your job better.

Public Health Policy and Advocacy

TMF's recently formed Public Health Policy and Advocacy Center ties research and action into new policy initiatives by partnering with organizational and community leaders, governmental partners, researchers and policy makers.
